I've been spending a lot of time in the last 2 months trying to increase my vocabulary. I'm hoping I improved enough, but the true test will be in a few days when I get to Russia. I used Golosa, and Pimsleur to help, also. The last time I worked with Russian was in 1980. I'm starting to feel some strong empathy with the English language students I taught at Nazareth College, in Rochester, over the last year. There are so many everyday words and phrases I don't know, and it feels like my ignorance is vast.
